This mini kit gives you a good idea of where I'm going next with my Gift Wrap Kit, now that I finally finished the papers -- all 95 of them! However, these Red and Black elements and papers will not be found in the Gift Wrap Kit, so your only chance to snag them is here!

This EIGHTEEN piece kit was created in 300 dpi:
* two 12" x12" papers (one regular red/black paper, other a vellum-type paper)
* three 2" x 2" frames
* three 3" x 3" frames
* three 4" x 4" frames
* three 5" x 5" frames
* four framed journal blocks (one in each of the above sizes)

Gift Wrap Paper Pack: all 95 papers in one download!

Since New Year's Day, I have posted 95 papers, all from the kit I call "Gift Wrap". Although some folks have actually printed the papers and used them literally for wrapping paper, I had more in mind that these papers were for scrapping special occasions -- times when you would "use gift wrap". But hey, that's pretty clever, printing out the papers so you can have one-of-a-kind gift wrapping paper! It reminds me of why I got into digital scrapbooking in the first place.

I use to be a siggie tag and alphabet maker, but all my creations were actually too large for signatures and a lot of my customers were using them in their digital and paper scrapbook projects. I like precise details, I like 3D and try to use both in my graphic projects. I'm not as talented as many designers in producing an assortment of elements, but within my passions, I think I'm fairly good. So much of what you will find in my "kits" are papers (some of which are perfect for vellum sheets), frames, journal blocks and eventually, I'll get back into alphas.

So, to wrap up the paper portion of my "Gift Wrap Kit", I combined all 95 -- yes, really, there are 95 of them! -- papers, all previously posted on this blog. The zip file contains 40 Shiny and 55 Non-Shiny 12" x 12" Papers. They have all been created at 300 dpi.

Does the name of this freebie give you a feeling of déjà vu?

Well, I did post red, white and blue papers, but they were designed completely different. They were also diagonal papers, but they were shiny papers.

It has been a few days since I posted last. I was pretty ill there and just wasn't up to posting on the blog. However, I hope you are as excited as I am for the new papers I'll be posting in the next two weeks. They are also part of my Gift Wrap Kit, but these papers were created differently than the previous 40 I've posted (2 per post).

I have made the white bright white, not the off-white I'd been using AND I've taken the shine out of most of the colors. I am quite taken by these brighter colors and I hope you are as well. So here's my first offering: black and white.

Gift Wrap Freebie #1: pink, white and blue

On Christmas afternoon, my husband, George, while walking by the computer, happened to look at the screen, where I was working on some ideas for scrapbook paper. After a minute, George asking me "What are you making? Wrapping paper? On the computer?"

I turned around and looked at him and realized he was serious. It was also clear that he was impressed with my work. I gave him a silly grin and said "Thanks! You've just named my new kit." He frowned at me, so I explained "I'm making a scrapbook kit." Having lived through my graphic art projects for years now, he knew what I was talking about: Digital Scrapbooking.

From that simple encounter, my Gift Wrap Kit began to develop. My first offering is two 12x12 papers in pink, white and blue, created in 300 dpi. These are the papers I used to create my blog header. The preview below shows a sample of both papers.
